Safety

At K'gari Walking Tours we take safety seriously, we know that K'gari is a remote wilderness and precautions need to be undertaken. This is why we don't let hikers walk solo, we ensure our hikers stay in groups and always have eyes on each other. We also use the Garmin Rino 2-Way Radio/GPS Navigator with Sensors for our pack-free hikers to communicate with the guide or use in an emergency. These devices also have GPS navigation so our team can locate you in an emergency.
